While you may find comfort in having a small handful of major clients, becoming dependent on them can be detrimental to your success. If you lose a client, due to a disaster or the economy, you might suddenly find your income is drastically reduced.
With that in mind, it’s important to continuously search for other freelance writing jobs, even if you only take a few extra projects here or there. You’ll keep your job hunting and application skills fresh and you’ll always have new work coming to you.
